Wrath Meets Love

Woe unto you who I hold so dear
How I long to hold you and have you near
I yearn for you beloved one
But Divine justice must be done
For the soul that sins; it must die
My wrath it must be satisfied
So how do I save my beloved one?
The answer lies with Christ my Son
Who I’ll send to take sin on Himself
Redemption will cost all my wealth
To satiate my vengeful ire
And save man from eternal fire
My Son will do it willingly
He’ll bring my darling back to me
And become the object of my rage
So that man might once again engage
And fellowship with God above
In Jesus Christ where wrath meets love.

rage seems to me a thing of Man and much too petty to be of God, perhaps there have been some misinterpetations..by Man...of God? Light & Love

A nice tone, an earnest message, I love the call to faith. L'nass is right about it. God bless you.

A smooth and flowing verse, Bob. Love the last line, "In Jesus Christ where wrath meets love". He can surely pick 'wrath' up, and transform it into something worth holding on to. A beautiful tribute to Jesus Christ, Bob. Wishing the best to you and yours..Mikki
