I long to tread upon the snow in hush of winter, wrapped in white; in feathered mounds serenely go. I long to tread upon the snow. The boughs hang low; no wind doth blow. My love, come see the wondrous sight! I long to tread upon the snow In hush of winter, wrapped in white Nov. 14, 2015 By Andrea Dietrich For the "Write Me A Winter Poem" Contest of Broken Wings

Delightfully penned, taking me through crisp air, and softness so soft, I float.

The repetition aptly underscores the longing for expressed right at the start. I can only agree that triolet is the best form for your write as displayed here, Andie. all the best!

Hello Andrea!! This is a perfect write. I believe you will have a very strong entry, if not the "Winning Poem" here in Broken Wings' contest. Best of Luck to you in the contest!! I've not yet done a Triolet style poem, but certainly plan to do so. (I studied the format for the Triolet, and your write here is a perfect example of one for sure. Outstanding!! A "7" + "FAV"!! Cheers and Best, Gary
