Wow
How long its been
Since darkness crowded
Overcrowded her very being
Since hatred filled
Her every thought
And all hope was lost it seemed
How long its been
Since nighttime
Hurt
Tears
Pain
Since demons held the key
To her
How long its been
Since being a slave to impulses
And martyr of dreams
How long has it been
She cowering in fear of what
The night will bring
Scared of the demons
That haunted nighttime thoughts
Now she stands
Staring them square in the face
Not afraid of the hurt they harbour
Though scars they left
Stil remain
She stands awaiting their game
They come and try blow her over
She stands
Her eyes dead set
She will conquer
She will not fall
They claw at her being
She stands
They whisper wishes of death
She stands
She stands
Something she hasn't yet won
But she stands
How long has it been old friend
She snarls
THey giggle
