Notes About The Poem

Would You Miss Me

Would You Miss Me

Would you miss me if I didn't call?
Would you miss me, miss me at all?
Would you care if I wasn't even there?
Would you miss all the love we share?

My soft gentle touch, would you miss?
My Tender sweet words of passion's bliss.
A loving caress from me, would you miss?
Or even care for the absence of my kiss.

Would you feel empty from the lack of me?
Would you experience a hollow heart's frailty?
Would you wear a smile or a longing frown?
Would you miss me if I just wasn't around?

I wonder, I ponder in questioning reflections.
Only because of your seeming lack of affections.
Would you miss my loving attentions ever so small?
Would you miss me, miss me even a little at all?
