Would You Believe
I want to write a poem about what we believe
We believe everything is possible
Then it will be possible
If we believe it's hard
It will be hard
What we believe does affect what we will get
But I want to share with you a different kind of belief
- the belief that we don't know more than God
That there is just no way what we wish for is better than His
That we leave everything to Him in determining our fate
That includes what we say, what we do, and whatever that is coming from us
When you do that, you will see that God will take over
And what you say is no longer what you say but His
What you do is no longer what you do but what He does
It's a matter of what you want
Do you want what you want or
Do you want His?
Do you believe yours are the ultimate ones
Or do you think His?
It's your choice - your decision
Make the smart choice
