Would You

If I had you,
Would I be happy?
Would I be enlightened?
Would you be the light to my darkness,
And the exciting darkness to my light?

If I had you,
Would you cause me pain?
Would you hurt my heart?
Would you break me,
And leave me apart?

If I have you,
Never leave
Trust in me
Be patient and love me eagerly.
