Would You

Would you fall to your knees and pray for him
Would you write him a song and play it for him
Would you stay by his side and cry for him
Would you smother the truth and lie for him

Would you hold all his pain and suffer for him
Would you turn him away or be a mother to him
Would you store all your love and send it to him
Would you throw him away or remember him

Would you drown in remorse shed a tear for him
Would you morn for your loss give your years to him
Would you cherish the moments you gave to him
Would you chance the romance you made with him

Would you bind all your time that you spent with him
Would you hide in your mind what you meant to him
Would you fall from his grace and sin for him
Or would you stand in his place and live for him
