Would You

I’m afraid to share my heart
I’m afraid to love
I’m afraid to give you a chance 
Or anything above
If I was to take a chance and open my heart
Would you ever hurt me and tear it apart ?
Would you kiss me and caress me at night ?
If I was having a bad day would you be there
To make it alright ?
Would you be my man and much more ?
Would you ever raise your hand to hit me ?
Would you ever leave me for another ?
If I needed someone to listen to my problems
Would you be there to listen ?
If I needed a shoulder to cry on 
Would you offer yours ?
Would you lie to me ?
Would you say things just to make me happy ?
Would you show me respect and treat me like your Queen ?
If we were to get into a fight 
Would you stay and work it out ?  
Or Would you leave without making things right?
If I gave you my heart 
Would you give me yours?
Or 
Would you let me love alone?

Thats Just The way Love Goes I Guess.
