Worthy Of Being

Why do I feel so unworthy of being Don’t I deserve all of life that I’m seeing Seeds that are planted in innocent soil Offer a mindset so ready to spoil Feeling unwanted, tormented by fear Not good enough, so the message is clear Different is not what the world will allow Emptiness weighs more than most things somehow Still, understanding can offer relief How when so young, we can imprint belief Knowing what’s wrong and what’s right I can shout Still ghosts remain that will harbor such doubt Why do I feel so unworthy of being Questions I ask myself somehow are freeing I know that I am a pillar of rock Go ahead, ridicule, slander and mock

this moved me to tears Mike I was bullied throughout my life especially at school and treated so differently to my sibling by my parents BUT I have moved on though I admit I often have those feelings of not being good enough. write on my friend - you are loved by so many of us here:-) hugs jan xx

Dear Mike, im so sorry you feel this way, i think sometimes we go through such emotions when we feel unheard, misunderstood and unappreciated, but please know that you are worthy. Never unworthy! And i felt the last lines strongly! It is the worst feeling when one makes us feel so bad when we express, mocking us in some way, and apparently being different is a sin in some peoples eyes. I felt this poem deeply! Sending you light always

The bitter experiences of younger days will haunt us throughout life, taking away our sense of self worth. Still we can get over such negative feelings if we consciously try. Please understand that each one must have suffered such sad experiences at one time or the other in life and it is not your singular experience! Always remind yourself that you are a pillar of rock.
