Worth While Footsteps

When they walk out
The footsteps echo in your soul
When they walk out
Your brain looses all control

When they leave your life
Your heart skips more then just one beat
When they leave your life
No longer steady are your feet

When they break your heart
Your lungs stop pumping air
When they break your heart
You feel like they never cared

When you fall in love
You are giving someone the chance to break your heart
Sometimes they won't, sometimes they will
But love is a risk worth taking

Jen, I can feel your emotions so strongly here and you are so right. It hurts to love someone and have them walk out of your life and turn your whole world upside down leaving you hurt, alone, confused, weary and depressed...Love can be your worse nightmare but it can also be a dream come true.. Love is beauty, love is pain, Love is tender, love is fear and love is worth the risk.. Beautifully written...Love the title!!God Bless*Tyesha
