Worth Nothing

Everyday I run through life
Trying to find where the happiness is,
But all I can ever discover is misery.

Never do I feel like I'm worth anything,
Then I remember that I'm nothing.
Just like mom said.

Much pathos in this piece...don't believe everything you hear, even if it does come from your mom.
