Worry, They Say

Worry, They Say

Worry, they say will take its almighty toll,
And I have fallen in its trap, and so,
I will dredge memories of beauty, love,
And place stress upon the shelf above.

I shall caress petals of a of a velvet rose,
Sweet and soft between adoring fingers,
Admire the big red deck geranium,
Its rough and ruffled leaves in morning dew.

And then, the sunset over the white capped sea,
When we played in the sand so long ago,
Purple and gold danced upon green waves,
Breezes rearranged your black wavy hair,

And I loved you so.

These thoughts I will hold onto and dwell
And find myself almost happy and well,
Worry, they say will take its toll, and so
I will dredge memories of beauty and love.

Beautifully expressed poetic logic in the end which wraps this gem of a poem w/an exclamatory bow, Sunlite. I like how you arrange your I Don't Know thoughts. Seems to me, you know exactly what you're talking about. Very wise and straight forward. Pure poetry. Star bright write. Love and joy always.
