Not heard of this little creature until now, Kim. Thanks for posting your take on it. Let's hope it doesn't become extinct. BTW, there's another tiny deer-like animal called a Tic-tic. Not sure if it's an ungulate, though. Thanks for reading me. / M

It’s a real animal that they hadn’t seen in thirty years. Neither mouse nor deer - a small ungulate (hooved animal) sounds exciting!
