World's Longest Walk Way. In 2019 Reddit drew it up based on Google Maps, 22,531 km (14,000 miles) from Cape Town in South Africa to Magadan in Russia. The route takes the traveler up (north east) through the following 11 countries : South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, South Sudan, Soudan, Egypt, Syria, Turkeya, Georgia, Russia. If we assumed a walking pace of 8 hours per a day (no rest days), the journey would take a year and six months (562 days).
