World Cry

We live in a world where monster die old, but little innocent boys and girls die Murder, Rape, child abuse, war, It's enough to make the world cry Do the police and government even know who they're supposed to keep safe? I guess not as paedophiles, rapists and murderers get early release dates "every one deserves a second chance" and blah blah blah These sick individuals cry to get free, then commit the crime again and they go Ha ha ha We all get Dragged through hell but only some choose to dance with satan How on earth is an alcoholic going to say he has an illness to a cancer patient? Why do rapists get released early and have another chance at raping? I don't trust Hands im shaking Had dreams of fixing the world but Damn i'm breaking Paedophiles living next to schools With new Identity Approaching kids like "Be friends with me" I'm a man of peace, but if anyone touches a kid I'll have to get my tools I try and remain calm, and keep a level headed temperament But don't understand how anyone could hurt a kid when they're so innocent Rest in peace Travyon Martin, I hope someone takes revenge on George Zimmerman It's bad enough that cancer takes so many young souls Politicians lie and lie and eventually it becomes old They don't care about us or the place we live in The law offer Counselling to the rapist, but little to the victim I've got so much more to say but I'm so mad right now I'm too caught up in the news, I need to put away my pad right now I speak the truth when the government feed you a bunch of lies This is enough to make the world cry

It's a sad, sad state our world is in and your succinct, bold words lay it out with passion. People here call writes such as this 'message' or 'reactive' poems. Though hard to read, they are a necessary first step to change, I believe. To shine a light on these horrors and travesties, brings the conversation out in the open, and much needed awareness... so maybe...someone reading this, will notice something 'wrong' and speak up for those who can't. Tough topic, nicely expressed. lynn

it is a sad state the world is in, yeah I think most poems like this have an important message, everyone has to see/deal with this via the news or actually be a part of it, yeah anything that speaks on it, is important, hopefully people who can speak on it, will, thank you :)
