-world-

A pink hue,
Envelopes.
Walking along,
After the rain.
Dye the world,
With watercolour
Paint.
I see, this
Is what I’ve missed.
All of those years
Of being alone,
Of being sheltered,
Of being in the dark.
I missed the scent
Of rain,
And the sight
Of colour.
Life passed me
Right by,
And so foolishly,
I didn’t even realize.
While awkward,
And extreme,
I still want
To be a part
Of the world.
Even though
My voice may
Not reach,
That doesn’t
Mean that
I can’t be happy.
Seeing others
Just as happy
That I am finally
Showing myself,
It makes me smile.
