Working Girl

Seedy side of town
Gutters of known renown
Red light districts
Lost souls and misfits
Sharing needles
Drunken binges
Exchange of money
With someone else's honey
Dripping with lust
Cops making busts
Dangling keys on a chain
Hand cuffed in cells
Sleeping off hangovers
From hell
Ladies of the night
Fishing for a bite
Using flesh as bait
Strutting their stuff
On dirty side streets
Selling their wares
For a quick score
In hotel rooms
Treated like whores
There they remain
Locked away like criminals
Looked upon with disdain
In the seedy side of town
