Working At the Circus For a Day

I worked at the circus for a day
and what can I say
except that I stole the show away.
They loved mocking at my insecurities,
and my anxiety was laughed at
that I know for sure.
And I do believe
that they had fun
watching my life turn upside down.
At the end of the day
they thought I was fake
so they sent me away.
