Poet and reader hold hands to sing a duet in harmony
-----------------------------------------------------
Listen to poem:
Come join with me in Wordslinger Duet in Harmony.
Words are my motivation.
Words are my inspiration.
I play with words, that pop into my head.
I pluck and snare the words that jingle and jangle a reaction within me.
Then, I love to show you what my cast net has caught:
"Look at this one, what a gem!"
"Hear its stunning sound!"
"Dwell and linger on what it means for you and me."
"See how it rhymes, chimes, rings,
jingles, jangles, bangs and clangs,
when garnered in a flock with other words.
I tell stories with words.
I try to explain things about life, with words.
I paint images with words.
I compose melodies with words.
I express emotions with words.
For words are my precious tools. mementos and jewels,
in my quiver as a Wordslinger, and Wordsmithy,
hopelessly devoted to words,
and devout lover of words.
