Words You'Ll Never Hear

I feel so numb, it feels unreal,
The pain has faded but lingers still.

I know, forever, I will feel,
A space that I wanted you to fill.

I would have waited forever,
If there was a chance that you'd be here.

It's just a hopeless endeavor,
To shout these words you'll never hear.

And now that we're so far apart,
You don't even think of me I'm sure,

You'll always have a piece of my heart,
Though so much pain I may endure.

you write with such heaviness.......but at the same time your words are beautiful. You are a fine poetess.

I understand the pain & wanton needs in these lines. This hit hard. Great job!
