Words Written On the Wind

WORDS ONCE SPOKEN - ONCE SUNG
ARE WRITTEN ON THE WIND

THEY FLY FROM PLACE TO PLACE
ALL OVER THE EARTH - FINE GREEN

IF I COULD PUT COLOR TO THE WIND
THEIR DISTANCE I COULD TRACE
I NEED NOT EARS

IF I COULD SOUND AMPLIFY
I NEED NOT EYES

ONLY THE BREEZE WIND OR GALE'I WOULD NEED TO TURN THE TALE
FOR ALL THREE ON MY SKIN WOULD BE TOUCHED

STAGNANT STENCH WOULD ALL THIS BE
UNLESS I COULD SMELL THE WIND IN THE TREES
OR FLOATING IN FROM THE SEVEN SEAS
AND RISING UP TO SNOW CAPPED PEAKS
I WANT TO PUT COLOR TO THE WIND AND THE SKY AND THE SEA
