Words Unsaid
Why couldn’t I say sorry
For all the times I let you worry?
Do you know my heart felt bad
Every time I made you cry or sad?
But as the clock ticks away,
I know my mistakes are here to stay.
Did I do and say enough;
Did you even know you were loved?
But the words still remain unsaid,
As I stare at your empty bed.
If only I could tell you how I feel,
Maybe in time my heart would heal.
