Words That Stir Us
Words that stir us deep inside
Light a candle, make us fly.
Words that move us up or down
In our minds and round and round.
If our eyes and brains both sync
Words can capture what we think.
Words that hold some magic spell
And take us all where time can’t tell.
Through canyons wide and oceans deep
Preparing us for giant leaps.
Towards imagination’s wondrous realms
And back again into ourselves.
