Notes About The Poem

The rose doesn't fight winter with sound or fury; instead, it simply exists, greets the dawn, and breathes its beauty into a world trying to freeze it out.

Words of Winter’s Weathered White

A single star softens
above cold stone,
where quiet shadows steal across the lawn.

A lone sprout
stands tall—
waiting to greet the ghostly glimmer of dawn.

With petals frozen in pure repose,
it whispers the memory of winter’s weathered white.
A pale, pristine thing,
subdued,
breathing its beauty into the bitter night.
