Words of the Master

Gone are the days of unworthiness,
when meaningless distinctions and comparisons were made on my behalf
by a judge who was truly insane.

Let me fix my broken craft (unfold it's beauty)
and resonate with a more unified message
of strength and peace.

Oh, how it moved me
and shook the very foundation of my being!

My entire outlook
on love, on life, on thoughts and words,
on power, on anger, on shame, on rest;
in miracles was set on more gracious stone.

For to read the words of the master
was to chart my course for life.

Who is your master? Powerful poetry. Obviously he or she has had a powerful impact on your life and work. Keep it up!

Very intriguing, Yoni. Makes me wonder who "the master" is. He/she obviously had a very profound impact on your life. And there is nothing "broken" in your poetic craft. Your messages are always meaningful; you always provoke my thoughts and make me weigh values and question perspectives. That's what great poets do! Glad to see you posting! Love, Carolyn
