Words of Peace

a tree, in front of
my house, stood naked - the spring
gave leafy cover

see the tree within-
stands alone in wintry air,
bare - awaiting spring

dogs do urinate
to mark - showers of love, wash
it away with time

time - the ultimate
master - decides whom to keep;
the others vanish

power - always try
to test the time - destiny
too, begs to differ

the poets too, die
to reborn every moment -
the spring's leaves remind

words of peace - always
ululate in distant lands;
would you lend your voice?
