Words of Encouragement
On life’s journey, there’s no need to
hurry,
Be confident, strong and fearless
when seeking your fill,
Be excited, for in truth, there's no
need to worry,
While enjoying life’s thrills, keep active,
and don’t lose your cool.
The road, be it long or short, rough
or smooth, take one step at a time,
be adventurous, search, explore
and enjoy all with a friendly smile,
Life’s short and only lasts a while,
When challenges, rejections and
frustrations show their faces, remain
calm and composed,
Take a moment, count backwards,
breathe deeply and keep your eyes
tightly closed.
Believe in yourself, and don’t let your
efforts crumble to dust,
Remember your goals, persevere,
stay focused and on course, as
finishing is a must,
Hold on to words of encouragement
to see you through the chase,
You will be tired, rugged and scarred
from the countless miles you’ve clocked
up as you keep with the pace,
Be assured that lessons learnt and
experiences gained means your
dreams and aspirations are on the
way to being fulfilled,
Determination and perseverance will
take you to a new and brighter place,
Securing you, your very own
Satisfaction Cup, as you would’ve
taken part in a great race, a race
called living my best Life.
