Words of a Soldier

We who live Will someday not We'll lie in our graves And sit And rot So give your life a purpose A casket covered With a flag unfurled Take part in something Remembered by the world Do not fret over blood and tears Don't let your hands tremble After so many years Be certain in your actions Reminisce without regret Trust me when I say It's even worse to forget
