Words Not Always There

Twilight in trance and thoughts amiss
Betwixt the mind and finger tips
Of words portrayed to flowered sight
Spoken softly in silken night
   Paused within a beauteous glare
Seeking of words not always there
The page reports the poets choice
As quill records it's master's voice
From angst to star bright moon lit night
Beholding fear of writing trite
Raindrops flowing from tear-dropped eyes
Misty page of poetic cries
Broken thoughts for needle and thread
The lamentations of the dead
Bewildered mind to catch a cloud
In sense the trance should be allowed
In time with thoughts of blissfulness
amongst the plight of willingness
A poet tends the mind with care
Writing of words not always there.
