Words Cut Deep

Words Cut Deep

A first a glance then a passing sigh
A soft reply for those who embark on the super natural
We create a chasm in the membrane of our minds
Fought back the silence with a pill
We egnite the flame that held our hearts in waiting still
A door bell rang outside my patio room
At first anxious for I had not much time to clean
Then the passing whisper onto a full shout all a glow
Words cut deep into the pit of one's heart
This will light the spark to what it is I have been waiting for
Some people think to deep to get a natural explanation
Others ponder a way escape on a long awaited vacation
Mark the one who is willing to explore so much more
Took a pen out of my pocket wanted to write things down
A crystal clear sound I shall refrain from it's natural decorum
We paint pictures in the sky in cloud formation
The journey on a great conquest just don't call me late for dinner
Words cut deep down the shallow creek above the bend
Out of mere solace we share a red rose that was plucked some time before
In each of our hearts we must be ever more vigilant in fighting the good race
The human eye can pull the heart in close to a great degree
We need to be set free from every promise made in the dark
Words cut deep to control our emotions and inner thoughts
Each of us is responsible for holding our tongue along life's journey
Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plough
Love should be the true essence of one's inner existence
