words came effortlessly

a parked bicycle on a lonely Kansas road
I searched the field of wheat but saw no one
was it recently parked? It was still standing
a renegade sunflower lifted her face to the sun

this scenario was intriguing to me
it begged for its own poem
I took out my pen, sat down and began to write
the words came as effortlessly as the blueness of the sky
