Words By Themselves

Words by themselves,
Cannot stand alone,
They need others to mutter,
The meaning and tone...
Be it spoken or written,
Whether heard or its read,
Turning thoughts into sentence's,
Inside of our heads...
They tell you a story,
Or statement they make,
A pen gives them glory,
on paper in ink...
But so broken and useless,
If all you can say,
Is spoken with truth-less,
To push them away...
Words by themselves,
Sometimes are alone,
Just books on a shelf,
Until we choose our own...
