Words Be Gone

Perhaps, oh maybe, oh darn, I can’t remember
My mind it really seems to have turned blank
I think that’s what your very beauty does to me
But I can’t remember if it’s you I have to thank

My words, they’re often slurred on their arrival
For when saying them to you, so nervous be
So maybe, I can write them for your reading
But, yet my mind is blank and set them free
