Words are permanent,
Speak them with forethought and care;
They can do so much damage,
When uttered in anger or fear...
They can be a blessing to those
Located far and near,
When spoken with conviction,
Peace to promote and endear...
They can free hearts and minds,
Help humanity's soul soar,
They can connect us to one another,
Make friends of enemies, for sure...
