No words
Nothing to say
It feels as if my words have flown away
Just Like birds struggling in a storm
How on earth can words be forlorn?
Words words
I have lost all feeling
Just like success
I have hit my ceiling
Words words
They suddenly seem so trivial,
Always trying so hard to be convivial.
Well I have had enough
I shall do it no more
finding words for silences
how darn menial.
I shall start afresh
new ways to express
a touch,
a glance,
a kiss, or two.
I shall be born again
search high and low
be quiet
be patient
watch the madness grow.
Why so angry?
Why so concerned?
What is wrong with you?
Have you not learned?
Words are meaningless
Words aren't true.
Words mean nothing,
except when referring to you.
Because nothing can encapsulate
your smile
your laugh
your frown.
Nothing in this world is as beautiful as you,
no sunset
no sunrise
no morning dew.
So why bother to describe
to put into words
meaningless words
how I feel about you?
Will my look,
my touch
none of that do?
You have captured my soul
kidnapped my heart
my mind.
my mind is full with images of you
sounds of you
your laughter
your smile
your strong arms.
My words mean nothing
none of them will do
I have none left
None meaningful enough to describe you.
So feel the love in my touch
my kiss
the beating of my heart
Yours. You. You are
Wonderful
Wonderful
Wonderful
The purest love I have ever known
How lucky I am
in love
in truth
How lucky with you.
So I shall end exactly where I began
Words are meaningless
