Words

Your words swallow me whole; spiritually wound my soul; leave me empty
without a place to go. My actions not rational and out of control.

Your words cut like a thousand knives. I can tell by the lust in your eyes
when you look at other guys but I'm not surprised.

Your words echo in my ears, bring me to tears. I contemplate over all
these years and ultimatly a divorce is what I fear.

Your words have often left me in despair, but you don't care. You leave me
to throw punches in the air and pulling out my hair.

Your words confuse me, verbally abuse me, and take me to a place I don't want to be.
Your words are pure misery!

Your words are now just a waste of time and space. A devil behind a beautiful face.

Your words are sin, never will they deceive me again!

Great Featured Poem! Congratulations, it deserves to be featured. I love reading every word of it, and the things sometimes come out of one's mouth can be destructive and brutal, that's whey We All must try to Think before We Speak! Words can damage a person for life, I understand where you are coming from but just Continue to be strong and keep the faith to move on! You are a Winner with such great talent as this!

Excellent poem! Yes, your ideas in your poem are absolutely true. That's why our tongue should always be careful on what words to utter but our mind must first think what it dictates to the tongue to say. More power, Mr. Jimmy and congratulations.
