Words
Words can build or words can destroy,
They can cause hurt or bring about joy.
How we deliver those words can mean a lot,
It’s our expression or attitude that can put us on the spot.
Sometimes a meaningful sentence can get turned around,
And leave egg on our face is what I’ve found.
So when you are choosing your words, please use care,
So as not to hurt someone, or be unfair.
As a rule of thumb if you don’t have something nice to say,
Just end your sentence with have a nice day.
Say it with a smile and wish it so,
And you’ll have friends where ere you go!
