Words

In the end my words are just that Words. Syllables combined to articulate, to express Strands of ink to paper Empty they are emotion, in passion And yet, to my shame Have I in words express My heart, my soul Laid plain on white sheets of paper For all the world to gaze to upon For you to see But, never never was such my luck Never did your gaze settle upon me Never was your heart mine to keep

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
