Wordplay

WORDPLAY

Words. Some big, some small,some rhyme not at all.
Often a message is hidden within it's passage;
Requiring a minds keen eye to understand.
Dare to deal the alphabet at random, so,
People read,guess, and even wonder why, ones
Labor of time was spent, to such an extent; to
Achieve ones curiosity of course, that was your intent.
You've then accomplished to capture their imagination.

It was good to see your poem featured here this week. I'll have to try an acrostic, it looks like fun.

I was intimidated at first to try doing an acrostic poem, but now I find them rather a "fun challenge." a few days ago I posted another acrostic :HORSES: It was more challenge than fun, but I had fun writing it.

This is true word play sometimes boggles my mind. I sometimes had trouble understanding a poem and what they mean. I guess I am a--- say it as you mean it-- type of person. Four excellent poems. love phyl
