Word Salad

We have come to a point in
Our history where we no longer have the ability,
Rather, the commitment to see things for what they are,
Desiring what can be imagined in our minds,
Singularly unburdened by the truth,
And disregarding what has been a proven
Lapse in judgment, and then to assert confidently, with
Artifice, and in so doing, make the unthinkable possible,
Doomed to repeat what actually happened before.

Of course, we have to have the fortitude and the will to MAKE it happen. Good job! Jeff Kyser March 9, 2022 at 7:33 AM Well, the non-bolded stuff might be viewed as word salad by some, too! I like that format of embedding the quote and trying to represent it in a poem, a nice puzzle for the morning. I do worry about the folks who think communism and socialism are a good idea and that we can get it right this time. Yikes!
