Hi Darlene. I didn't know ether until last year, but they do. It is a territorial thing and I read they also have insulated brain protection! Thank you. Hugs :)

Hi Milton. I have been here for years with lots of woodpeckers on the trees. Then, last summer one was banging on metal roofs for the first time and this year one has started to. Thank you :)
