perky yellow woodland sunflower
you grew renegade at the side of my Kansas woods
against the backdrop of the forest, you look amazing
glowing in the colors of an August sun
you are reputed to be an invasive plant
welcome to my meadow, you bring me joy
invade away, with my blessing
