Wooden Fence

She sits upon a wooden fence,
not awaiting inspiration,
nor casting a rank decision
on the vagrancies of living.

Daring you to read her lines,
discover where your soul aligns,
uncover what your heart will feel
recover what you know is real.

The universe so vast, so deep,
beyond yourself so much to reap.
Pause a moment on a flower,
for therein lies some real power.

Very nice, William, good words to hear. So much can be found in the small, unnoticed things
