Won'T You Tell Us
God I am not pouting
Why did You say I am pouting?
Is it for future occurrence?
Okay I will keep that in mind
You are too funny God
I love you
God your day is coming up
And I don’t know what to write for you
What could I possibly write
That will describe how I feel about You?
You are so awesome that
There is no word that could qualify
Your incredible awesomeness
Your matchless talents
Your breathtaking magnificence
God why are You so good?
You take our breath away
With each loving thing that You did
For us
Time and time again
You would be at the front
Of whatever we are doing
Whatever that is facing us
God You help us to challenge the goliath
And come out unscathed
God how could You do that for us?
When we haven’t done a thing for You
We haven’t given You glory
We haven’t touched the hand of a stranger
Like you wanted it
We haven’t lived to Your expectation
We fail
Time after time
Yet You still love us
What could You possibly gain from loving us?
What could we possibly give You
That You so richly deserved?
You who has mountains
Who has seas
Who has the world under your feet
What could You possibly want from us?
Except our obedience and love
Lord why don’t You tell us?
