Won'T Be Tomorrow
Won’t be tomorrow,
but a gleam of hope
shines on
the horizon with
vaccination nigh.
Won’t be tomorrow,
but soon there’ll be scope
to dine
together with friends
in a restaurant.
Won’t be tomorrow,
but we’ll share dope dope
and listen to
live music on more
than virtual screens.
Maybe tomorrow,
we’ll together trope
and cheer
the home team in a
crowded stadium.
On that tomorrow
let’s reknot the rope
which unites
humanity with
our fragile planet.
