Wondrous Castles
I remember when I was three years old
playing in a sandbox at the playground:
and all the fun I had, for it wasn't planned.
I'd create wondrous castles to behold
using a pail, while I'd sculpt the background
by hand.
Once I stepped into that magical box
I'd create sandcastles that looked so grand.
A perfect place, for no one was around,
while my imagination played with rocks
and sand.
