Wonderland
There’s a place in my dreams
Where everything is not as it seems
It’s a wonderland
Where the sand is made from mother of pearl
And the deep jade water swirls around your feet
As the waves pound in a rhythmic beat
In the shaded woods
Little elves go about their business
Wearing brightly coloured hoods
That protect them from the sun
They watch their children with their beady eyes
As they skip and have fun
Across the way
In the grassy plains
That are warmed by the daytime sun
The unicorns play
Their bodies are pure white
Their manes and tails, the colour of plum
They are a beautiful sight
To see them dance and play until night
This is when the Pegasus’s take flight
They fly at great heights
They must see some amazing things
But not as amazing as in my dreams
When I wake up I feel sad
But then I remember about the dreams
I had
And I can’t wait until the next night
When I take flight with the Pegasus’s
In my wonderland
