Wonderings of Now

This lullaby
It seems so pure
Love, laughter, with life’s happiness
So perfect it seems to be
Without fault we seem not to live
Life as a child was so easy then
Nothing is as perfect as it seems
As the melody breaths aloud
With all the misfortune
Of the living that is around
Some do not seem to realize
The others that surround
That are upon this stricken land
Sing me to sleep
With the troubles of tomorrow
The regrets in the past
And wonderings of now
In this present time we live
With this story of a life
That goes on forever
Sometimes doing it all over again
