Wondering Aimlessly
Can think of nothing else to do except write.
Sitting and thinking about her face and voice.
Nothing else matters but the subtle distain.
Quiet inside now. Metallic taste slips in.
Copper maybe??? Not to sure of it now.
Breathless, lifeless, and not taking it anymore.
Feel that? That is the air thinning, suffocate!
That’s this baseball bat to the back of your head!
That the noose around your neck, tightening!
That’s the bullet to your brain…soft and warm.
Pulse quickens! Feel that? Shorter breaths. Feel that?
That’s panic, that’s life, that’s love!
