Wondering About Love

Roses for love are always red,
And remind me of the words you said
Violets they say should be blue,
And last for as long as I'll have you
Will love in itself last for always,
Or be gone at the end of all of my days?
Will it be enough to forever sustain
If it for once, I can finally attain?
These things I often sit and ponder,
While still not getting any younger

So many questions...will you find all the answers? Maybe some you already have. Wondering keeps the mind alive! Well done, Janice! Donna

Clever and sweet. Although I know you are longing for love, and it can be a lonely feeling, this was such a delightful read. Wishing and hoping for you. Love, Shar xoxo

Very nice, Janice! Guess we all spend a lot of time filled with questions about love. Sometimes these questions prevent us from seizing the opportunity and, surely, we are "not getting any younger" in the meantime. You struck a chord for me, Janice. Love this poem and the poet! Carolyn
